Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Chay88 Creative Studio. We want your order to arrive quickly, safely, and in perfect condition. Please read our shipping policy carefully — it differs slightly depending on the type of product you've ordered.


1. Order Processing

All orders are processed on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Canadian public holidays).

Print-on-demand products (mugs and all made-to-order items) are produced by our fulfilment partner Gelato. Most products have a production time of 1–2 business days before they are dispatched. During peak periods such as Eid, Diwali, Christmas, and other gifting seasons, production and delivery times may be longer than usual. We recommend ordering early for gifting occasions. 

Directly shipped products (items shipped by Chay88) are processed and dispatched within 2–5 business days of receiving your order. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

2. Shipping Destinations

We ship to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and select international destinations. Gelato ships to over 200 countries worldwide through a network of 140+ local print partners, with 95% of orders produced close to the customer's delivery address to reduce shipping times and costs.

3. Estimated Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times are estimates only and begin from the date your order is dispatched, not the date your order is placed.

Print-on-demand products (fulfilled by Gelato):

After 1–2 business days of production:

Directly shipped products (shipped by Chay88):

These timeframes are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, customs processing, or circumstances outside our control.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, the products ordered, and your chosen shipping method. Gelato provides live shipping price quotes accessible at checkout. 

Free shipping promotions, where applicable, will be clearly indicated on the website or in your promotional email. Free shipping thresholds apply to the order subtotal before taxes.


5. Shipping Methods

For most destinations, standard/economy and express shipping options are available. Standard shipping typically takes 2–4 days for domestic delivery. Express shipping is processed as a priority and is recommended when delivery time is critical. 

Your available shipping options and estimated delivery dates will be shown at checkout before any payment is made.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your parcel. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active after you receive your confirmation email.

If you have not received a shipping confirmation within the processing timeframe, please check your spam or junk folder first, then contact us at chay88creativestudio@gmail.com.


7. Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

For orders shipped outside of Canada, your parcel may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other charges levied by your country's customs authority. These charges are outside our control and are not included in your order total or shipping cost.

We recommend that international customers inform themselves about potential customs fees applicable in their country before placing an order. Chay88 Creative Studio is not responsible for any customs delays or additional charges incurred upon delivery. Refused parcels due to customs charges will not be eligible for a refund of the original shipping cost.

8. Split Shipments

If your order contains both print-on-demand products and directly shipped products, your order may arrive in separate packages at different times. You will receive individual tracking information for each shipment. There is no additional shipping charge for split shipments.


9. Incorrect Addresses

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate before completing your order. Chay88 Creative Studio is not responsible for orders delayed or undelivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout.

If an order is returned to sender due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipping. For print-on-demand products returned to sender, please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for applicable terms.

If you notice an error in your shipping address immediately after placing your order, contact us at chay88creativestudio@gmail.com as soon as possible. We will do our best to update your address before the order is dispatched, however we cannot guarantee changes can be made once an order has entered production or fulfilment.

10. Lost or Delayed Parcels

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please take the following steps:

  • Check your tracking information for any carrier updates or delivery attempts
  • Check with neighbours or your building's mailroom in case the parcel was left with someone nearby
  • Contact your local post office or courier depot — parcels are sometimes held for collection

If your parcel appears to be lost in transit, contact us at chay88creativestudio@gmail.com within 30 days of your estimated delivery date. For print-on-demand orders, we will work with Gelato to investigate and arrange a replacement if the parcel is confirmed lost. For directly shipped orders, we will work with the carrier on your behalf.

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, weather events, or other circumstances outside our control.

11. Damaged Parcels

If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the outer packaging and the damaged item before doing anything else, then contact us at chay88creativestudio@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We will assess the damage and arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.


12. Sustainable Shipping

We're proud to work with Gelato, whose local production model means most orders are produced close to the customer's location, reducing carbon emissions and supporting local businesses. Where possible, we use minimal and recyclable packaging for items shipped directly by Chay88.
